Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1,000 g beans, green, fresh or frozen
  • 750 g potatoes
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g bacon, diced
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cut into equal-sized pieces so they cook evenly. Place them in a pot of salted water along with the beans and bring to a boil. Simmer for a total of 20 minutes. Then turn off the stove and drain the water. Move the pot to another stovetop. Add the bacon as it is to the pot, cut the butter into 5-6 equal-sized pieces and add them to the pot as well. Finally, crack the eggs and add them to the pot. Now put the lid on and place the pot on the turned-off stovetop. The butter will melt due to the residual heat from the stove and the heat/steam from the vegetables. After 2 minutes, mix everything together and let it stand for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
