  • 2 cloves garlic, more to taste
  • n. B. Remoulade
  • some beefsteak tomatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Garlic cheese cream on tomato slices is a hit at any party or barbecue!

Press the garlic cloves through a garlic press. Coarsely grate the Gouda cheese and mix it in a bowl with the garlic and a dollop of tartar sauce (start with about 3 tablespoons, maybe more). It should form a sticky mixture. If possible, refrigerate it for a while. Cut the tomatoes (large beefsteak tomatoes are best) into slices about 1 cm thick. Top each tomato slice with about a heaped tablespoon of the cheese mixture.
