Baked garlic potato slices

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, mainly waxy, cut into thin slices
  • 2 tsp rosemary, fresh or dried
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Brush with a generous amount of olive oil. Arrange the potatoes in thin slices on the greased paper, fanning them out. Leave some space between the rows. Halve the peeled garlic horizontally and place it under the potato slices, along with the rosemary. Season with salt and pepper, and brush the potato slices with oil again. Bake the potatoes at 200°C (400°F) on a medium heat for 35 minutes. They should be slightly crispy and lightly browned.
