Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 m.-sized eggs
- 100 ml cream, alternatively milk or half and half
- 40 g flour
- 45 g sugar
- 2 drops flavoring (vanilla extract)
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 6 slices of sandwich toast
- Fat for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
absolutely unbeatable taste
Mix all ingredients together and add the toast slices. It’s best to poke lots of small holes in the toast slices with a fork to allow them to absorb the liquid. Turn the slices over after 1-2 minutes. Heat some oil in a pan and cook the toast slices over medium heat until browned on both sides. They taste best with powdered sugar and maple syrup, but they also taste great with jam, whipped cream, sour cream, cream cheese, or ice cream.
