King prawns with garlic and chili

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 6 king prawns, raw
  • 10 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 small chili peppers
  • Salt
  • 4 sprigs parsley, flat
  • 1 lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the garlic cloves and quarter them lengthwise. Devein the unpeeled king prawns. Place 5 tablespoons of olive oil, half of the garlic wedges, and 4 chilies into two ovenproof clay dishes. Lightly salt. Heat the clay dishes in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes, until the oil boils. Cook 3 king prawns at a time for 6-8 minutes. Remove the clay dishes. Turn the prawns over, sprinkle with parsley, and serve immediately with lemon zest.
