Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 600 g wheat flour, type 405
- 1 cube of yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 300 ml water, lukewarm
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 50 g butter
- 6 tbsp sesame seeds
- Flour , for the work surface
- Fat, for the tray
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Mix flour, yeast, and sugar with about 150 ml of water. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes. Melt the butter, let it cool slightly, then add it to the pre-dough with the remaining water, salt, and oil and mix until a smooth dough forms. Let rise for another 45 minutes. Grease a baking tray and preheat the oven to 225°C. Knead the dough again and form 2 flatbreads. Lightly prick with a fork, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and lightly flour. Place on the baking tray and let rise for another 15 minutes. Then bake for about 25 minutes. The flatbread freezes well.
