Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 ml milk
- 80 g sugar
- 60 g dark chocolate coating
- 20 g pistachios, chopped
- 20 g marzipan
- 3 egg yolks
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
Chocolate marzipan ice cream
Chop the marzipan into small pieces and melt it in boiling milk. Beat the sugar and egg yolks until frothy. Melt the chocolate coating in the milk. Mix the chocolate milk with the sugar and egg mixture. Strain; do not allow to boil. Strain through a fine sieve. Stir in the chopped pistachios and cool quickly. Freeze in an ice cream maker or freezer.
