Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 60 g butter
  • 240 g liquid honey
  • 300 g oat flakes (whole grain)
  • 120 g nuts and seeds of your choice
  • 120 g dried fruits (e.g. apple rings, figs, apricots, figs, sultanas…)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice

Melt the butter and honey in a saucepan. Chop the nuts (e.g., hazelnuts, walnuts) and seeds (e.g., sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds). Add the lemon juice and oats. Finely dice the dried fruit (except the sultanas) and stir into the mixture. Spread the mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper, about a finger’s thickness thick. Bake on the middle rack of a preheated oven at 150°C for about 30 minutes. Then cut into bars while still warm. This quantity is enough for about 16 bars. Wrap the cooled bars individually in parchment paper and store in an airtight container. They will keep for about 3 weeks.
