Pizza fan rolls – party recipe

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 packs of baguette rolls
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 250 g tomato puree
  • 10 basil leaves
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 3 slices of cooked ham
  • 4 slices of salami

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Remove the rolls from the freezer and preheat the oven to the temperature indicated on the packaging. Grate the cheese. For the tomato sauce, place the tomato puree in a bowl, layer the basil leaves on top of each other, and roll them into a cigar-like shape. Then cut the leaves into strips. Add the basil strips to the puree and season with salt and pepper. Now cut the cooked ham and salami into small cubes. Then cut the rolls four times with a sharp knife. It is important not to cut all the way through. Fill each cut with a little tomato sauce, cooked ham, or salami and top with cheese. Place the rolls on a baking sheet. Make sure there is enough space between the rolls, as otherwise they may stick together. Then bake on the middle rack for 12 to 15 minutes as indicated on the packaging and serve while still warm.
