Puff pastry – vanilla tartlets

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, Bourbon vanilla
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 egg(s)
  • possibly powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for 12 cakes

Whisk the pudding mix with sugar, 6 tablespoons of milk, and the egg until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to a boil and then stir in the pudding mix. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan/gas mark 2). Roll out the puff pastry and divide into 12 equal squares. Place the puff pastry squares into muffin cups and slightly roll up the corners. Pour the pudding into the cups. Bake the tarts in the center of the oven for about 30 minutes. The tarts can be eaten hot or cold.
