Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 550 g flour
- 40 g sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 60 g butter
- 2 eggs, size M
- 200 ml milk
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds

makes 24 pieces
Mix 500g of flour with sugar and salt. Add softened butter in small pieces. Knead using the dough hook of an electric mixer. Gradually add the eggs and milk, kneading until a smooth, elastic dough forms. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Divide the dough into 24 equal portions. Roll out into small flatbreads approximately 7cm in diameter on the remaining flour and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush the surface of the dough with water. Sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds. Bake in the middle oven rack for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. The flatbread is perfect as a snack with wine or with cheese, grapes, and walnuts. It is also suitable as a side dish to appetizer salads or soups.
