Fried dumplings with bacon and onions

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 dumplings, cooked (e.g. from the day before)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 50 g diced ham
  • 1 large onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Using leftovers, a quick, easy and hearty meal,

Slice the cold dumplings and fry them on both sides in a nonstick pan with a spoonful of oil. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Add another spoonful of oil to the pan and fry the bacon. Meanwhile, peel and dice the onion, add it to the ham cubes, and sauté. Return the dumplings to the pan, mix with the ham and onion cubes, and serve on a plate. Serve with a green salad or lamb’s lettuce.
