Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g milk
  • 150 g cream
  • 90 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Whisk the sugar and eggs in a bowl. Split the vanilla pod and scrape out the seeds. Bring to a boil with the milk and cream and remove from the heat. Remove the pod from the milk. Stir the egg mixture into the milk to create a smooth sauce.
