Marble Cake with Marzipan
The perfect marble cake with marzipan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Soft butter
- 250 g Sugar
- 5 Eggs
- 100 g Sour cream
- 350 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 3 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 100 g Marzipan raw mass
- 1 drops Bitter almond flavor
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Sifted powdered sugar
- Stir butter and sugar until foamy. Stir in eggs, a pinch of salt, sour cream, vanilla sugar and milk. Mix in flour and baking powder, stir in.
- Halve the dough. Mix one half with cocoa powder. Grate the marzipan and mix with the other half of the dough with a few drops of bitter almond flavor. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (fan oven to 160 degrees).
- Layer the two doughs in a greased loaf pan, stir with a fork to create a marble pattern. Bake the cake in the oven for about 50 minutes. Let the cake cool down a little, turn it out of the mold, turn it over, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
