Tomato – mozzarella – puree – casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g tomatoes
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 150 g raw ham, cut into thin slices
  • 2 bags of mashed potato powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil 1 liter of water with a little salt, remove from the heat, and briefly stir in the purée flakes, then stir in the butter. Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella. Peel and mince the garlic. Season the tomato slices with garlic, salt, and pepper. Pick a few basil leaves and chop the rest. Wrap a slice of mozzarella and a basil leaf each with 1/2 a slice of ham. Pour the purée into a baking dish, arrange the tomato slices on top, and finally, place the ham and mozzarella parcels on top of the tomatoes. Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C (fan oven: 200°C) for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped basil.
