Red cabbage casserole with minced meat

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat (beef or mixed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 150 g bacon, streaky
  • 1 jar red cabbage (720 ml), drained
  • 250 g sour cream or creme fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the minced meat with the eggs, mustard, and chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Dice the bacon, fry it, and briefly fry the potatoes. Layer the potatoes, minced meat, and red cabbage in a greased casserole dish. Pour sour cream or crème fraîche over the potatoes and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 30 minutes.
