Bifteki with feta

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 sprigs of parsley, flat
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onion, and sauté it in a pan with oil. Meanwhile, finely chop the parsley. Place the minced meat in a bowl. Add the onions, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, cumin, breadcrumbs, eggs, and lemon juice. Mix everything well. Cut the feta cheese into small cubes. Form the minced meat into evenly sized, flat patties. Place some feta in the center and seal with the meat. With moistened hands, form it into rolls and fry them all around in a pan with oil.
