Meatballs in mustard sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g tartar
  • 200 g cottage cheese
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 40 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • garlic powder
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ liter vegetable broth
  • 20 g low-fat margarine (diet margarine)
  • 25 g flour
  • 500 ml broth (cooking broth)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp mild mustard
  • 100 ml Cremefine
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

For the meatballs, make a smooth dough from the first seven ingredients. Form eight meatballs. Bring the broth to a boil and let the meatballs simmer for about 15 minutes. Make a roux from the diet margarine and flour, then deglaze with the broth. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, season to taste, and blend with a hand blender. Add the meatballs to the sauce. Serve with boiled potatoes. Tip: The meatballs also taste great with pasta in a mild tomato sauce.
