Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 rolls (hamburger)
- 4 sausages, coarse
- 60 g cheese, grated
- ¼ iceberg lettuce
- 20 g fried onions
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 shallot(s)
- 5 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- ½ orange(s), (the juice)
- 1 tbsp curry powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with orange curry dressing
For the dressing, peel and finely dice the shallot. Mix with ketchup and mustard, then season with orange juice and curry powder. Trim and wash the iceberg lettuce and cut into small strips. Heat the oil and fry the sausages in it. Halve the buns horizontally. Spread the cheese on top. Briefly heat the buns on the middle rack of the oven at approx. 50°C until the cheese has melted. Slice the sausage and place them on the bottom halves of the buns with the lettuce, curry sauce, and fried onions. Place the top halves on top and serve the burgers warm.
