Physalis-raspberry jam

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • n. B. Physalis (500 g in the liqueur batch)
  • e.g. raspberries (frozen)
  • 1 packet of gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

This fine jam was created using the fruits from my friend fini123’s liqueur recipe “Physalis Liqueur according to Anne” (recipe in the database).

After filtering the liqueur, weigh the physalis, add the same amount of frozen raspberries, and simmer on low heat with the vanilla pod from the liqueur mixture for about 10 minutes. Remove the vanilla pod, and if desired, you can purée the mixture. Add the gelling sugar according to the package instructions, bring to a boil, and pour into small jars.
