Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g turkey breast
- 500 g pork schnitzel or beef roulades
- 500 g chicken breast
- 500 g bell pepper(s), red
- 500 g onion(s)
- 1 bottle of Asian sauce, sweet-sour-hot
- 1 small can of pineapple pieces or fresh pineapple
- 3 stalk(s) lemongrass
- 1 jar soy sprouts
- 10 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp cumin
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp five-spice powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours
Make a marinade from the soy sauce, honey, and spices. Cut the meat into 5-6cm pieces and marinate for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, chop the bell peppers, onions, and garlic into bite-sized pieces. Layer the marinated meat and all the other ingredients up to the onions in a large roasting pan, one after the other, and pour the Asian sauce over them. Distribute the sprouts and pineapple pieces on top. Mash the lemongrass and place it on top. Bake everything in the oven at 170°C with fan for 3 hours. Serve with all kinds of rice, nasi goreng, or bami goreng. If you like, you can thicken the dish with cornflour before serving. And if you like it spicier, you can vary it with chilies.
