Bread rolls with cheese

Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 1 large white bread (white loaf)
  • 200 g cheese (spreading cheese)
  • 1 bunch of cress
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • chili powder
  • 3 tbsp sour cream or cream
  • 3 tbsp crème fraîche
  • Butter for spreading

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 40 minutes

Remove the crust from the white loaf all around (slice thinly), then cut lengthwise into slices about 0.5 cm thick. Finely chop the cress, crush the garlic, and place both in a bowl with the cheese, sour cream, a little chili powder, and crème fraîche. Mix until creamy. Spread the bread thinly with butter, then spread with about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture. Roll up one slice of bread lengthwise, wrap tightly in cling film, and refrigerate for 2 hours. Then unroll, slice, and you’re done. A delicious snack or for a buffet.
