Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 4 eggs
- 250 g sugar
- 350 g flour
- 300 g sour cream
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 4 can/n mandarin oranges (312 ml each)
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g flaked almonds
- 50 g butter, melted
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Beat eggs and sugar until frothy, then alternately stir in flour, baking powder, and sour cream. Spread the batter on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Distribute drained mandarin oranges over the batter and sprinkle with almond flakes mixed with sugar. Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes at 180-200°C. Brush the still-hot cake with melted butter.
