Turkey Stew
The perfect turkey stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Onions
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 4 Stems Thyme
- 1 Turkey leg, boneless, with skin
- 4 tbsp Oil
- 1 small head Cabbage
- 400 g Carrots
- 6 Potatoes
- 2 Bay leaves
- Salt pepper
- 1,5 l Chicken broth
- 6 Stems Parsley
- Peel and dice the onions.
- Peel and finely chop the garlic.
- Wash the thyme, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stems.
- Wash the meat, pat dry and roughly dice.
- Heat the oil in a casserole.
- Add the meat and fry it vigorously while turning.
- In the meantime, clean the cabbage and cut into large pieces.
- Wash, peel and slice the carrots.
- Add the garlic, bay leaf and thyme leaves to the meat and sauté briefly.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cabbage, stew for approx. 15 minutes, turning several times.
- Peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces and also add.
- Then deglaze with the chicken stock, bring to the boil and cook for about 40 minutes.
- Wash parsley, shake dry and chop.
- Arrange on plates and serve with the chopped parsley.
