Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast or white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • some vegetable oil or butter or margarine
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Cut the bread slices into 4 pieces each. Fill a bowl with egg white, egg yolk, and milk and mix together. Place the breadcrumbs on a plate. Dip each sliced ​​bread piece individually into the mixture and then coat evenly in the breadcrumbs. Fry the toasties in a pan until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
