Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 can Lentils with soup vegetables
- 2 potatoes
- ½ onion(s)
- 3 carrots
- 1 tbsp clarified butter
- 100 g ham, raw, lean, diced
- ½ liter vegetable broth
- Mustard, medium hot
- salt and pepper
- Apple cider vinegar
- maple syrup
- Chives as needed
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Peel, peel, and dice the potatoes, onions, and carrots. Briefly fry them in clarified butter along with the raw ham, stirring occasionally. Pour in the broth and simmer for about 20 minutes. Now add the lentils. Bring back to a boil. Season with mustard, pepper, salt, vinegar, and maple syrup. Sprinkle the chives on top of the soup and serve.
