Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 g milk chocolate, grated
- 200 g ground almonds
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp baking cocoa
- 1 vanilla pod(s), scraped pulp
- 100 g milk chocolate coating
- Almonds, peeled or almond sticks, hazelnuts, chocolate sprinkles, sugar, coconut flakes, colored sugar

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Delicious cake for the Advent season
Cream the butter until fluffy. Alternately add the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs and mix. Stir in the sifted flour mixed with the baking powder, cinnamon, and cocoa. Fold in the chocolate and almonds. Add the vanilla bean seeds and stir in. Spread the batter onto a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at approximately 180°C (convection oven) for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, warm the chocolate coating in a water bath. After baking, spread the chocolate coating over everything and cut into small squares. These can then be decorated as desired with the above ingredients. The batter yields approximately 25 servings.
