After-work sandwich

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicken breasts (approx. 300 g)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • 1 ciabatta
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 8 slice(s) of tomato(s)
  • 8 slices of cucumber
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Prepare the tomato and cucumber slices and lettuce leaves and set aside. Slice the onions into rings and the mozzarella into slices. Heat a pan and add a little oil. Season the chicken breast pieces and fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side. Fry the onion rings next to it. Turn off the heat. Remove the fried chicken breast pieces from the pan and chop them into small pieces. Halve the ciabatta and slice it lengthwise. Place the inner side in the same pan for a minute to allow the bread to brown slightly. Now spread the bread with the cream cheese. Stack a lettuce leaf on the bottom piece of bread, then cucumber slices, chicken breast pieces, tomatoes, onion rings, and mozzarella, and then cover with the top half of the bread. The sandwich will be huge and, thanks to the chicken breast, onion rings, and mozzarella, is super moist and delicious.
