Aggi's knuckle pan with beans and onions

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 knuckles, mini, pre-roasted, approx. 450 g
  • 2 medium-sized onions, approx. 250 g
  • 1 small can of green beans (string beans), approx. 220 g each
  • 20 g fat for frying, liquid

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Remove the mini shanks from the bone, halve them, and cut them into bite-sized cubes. Peel, halve, and slice the onions. Drain the beans. Place the diced shanks in a deep frying pan and fry them in the fat until crisp. After a while, add the onion strips. When the onions begin to turn translucent, add the beans and fry for another 2-3 minutes, until everything is hot. Serve the shank pan with bread rolls or fried potatoes, depending on your taste and appetite. It contains approximately 430 kcal per serving.
