Make a dough from flour, baking powder, butter, egg, and sugar. Pour the dough into a prepared springform pan. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 10 minutes. For the filling, bring the ground poppy seeds to a boil with the milk and then let cool slightly. Then add the ground almonds, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, a little bitter almond oil or rum, and, if desired, a handful of raisins. Sauté the prepared apples in a little butter. For the crumble, quickly knead the sugar, flour, butter, and a little cinnamon into a crumbly dough. Pour the poppy seed filling onto the pre-baked dough, spread the stewed apples on top, and then sprinkle the crumble on top. Return the dough to the preheated oven on the middle rack and finish baking at the same temperature. Depending on your oven, this may take approximately 50 minutes. Tip: The poppy seed filling can be prepared in advance if needed.
