Ajvar – chicken breast casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g chicken breast
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 1 jar Ajvar, hot
  • 1 jar Ajvar, regular
  • 350 g rice
  • 2 large red bell peppers
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Cook the rice as usual until golden brown. Cut the chicken breast into pieces and place in a casserole dish. Peel the bell peppers, cut them into bite-sized pieces, and add them to the meat in the casserole dish. Mix the cream with both types of ajvar, season with salt and pepper, pour over the ingredients in the dish, and mix well. Place in the oven for 30-45 minutes, then serve with the rice.
