  • 125 g quark (crumbly curd cheese)
  • 125 g sour cream (1/2 cup)
  • 10 gherkins, very finely diced
  • ½ bell pepper(s), red, very finely diced
  • ½ bell pepper(s), yellow, very finely diced
  • 1 tbsp mustard (Kremser mustard)
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • some pepper
  • some chili salt
  • some herbal salt
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, dried, sun-ripened, very finely diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

spread

Wash the bell peppers and dice them very finely, and dice the gherkins very finely. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes very finely. Mix all ingredients together and enjoy. Tip: If you like, you can add about 50g of room-temperature butter (I skip it because of the calories). Curry powder also tastes good in Liptauer. Liptauer is served on black bread or toast or on fresh pastries and is a popular, delicious spread at wine taverns. I use organic dairy products.
