Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • 200 g almond flakes
  • 200 g hazelnuts
  • possibly candied orange peel
  • n. B. Wafers

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Christmas biscuits, makes about 80 pieces

Heat the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until the sugar is caramelized. Add the cup of sweet cream and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the almonds and hazelnuts. Place on wafer paper and bake at 180–200°C for 10 minutes. Don’t overdo it and flatten slightly.
