Caviar – Eggs – Toast

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 jar caviar (keta caviar)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 small onion(s), if desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

with crème fraîche

Boil the eggs hard and then slice them. Toast the toast as desired and top each with an egg. Spread crème fraîche and scatter the caviar on top. Add a few squeezes of lemon juice. For an “American” twist, add some chopped onion. This is highly frowned upon with real caviar, as it greatly impairs the caviar’s flavor.
