Almond plaice

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 fish fillets (plaice)
  • 50 g almonds, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely diced
  • ½ bunch flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp, heaped lemon zest, freshly grated
  • 1 half lemon(s), sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Pepper, from the mill
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

SiS-compatible

Wash the fish fillets, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper. Mix the almonds, garlic, lemon zest, and parsley well. Heat the oil and butter in a pan and fry the fish fillets over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side. Remove and keep warm. In the same pan, toast the almond mixture for about 2-3 minutes. Pour the mixture over the fish fillets, garnish with the lemon slices, and serve immediately.
