Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 ml milk
- 80 g sugar
- 50 g ground almonds
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- Almond(s), peeled, or almond flakes, for decoration
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, and ground almonds in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Dissolve the cornstarch in a little water and slowly add it to the milk mixture. Bring the mixture to a boil until it thickens. Finally, add the poppy seeds. Ladle the pudding into bowls and garnish with almonds.
