Almond Raspberry Scones

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 280 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 90 g butter
  • 215 g cream
  • 125 g raspberries, fresh
  • 30 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

First, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and butter in a bowl and mix until a crumbly dough forms. Then add the cream, raspberries, and flaked almonds. Gently mix the mixture with a spatula until it thickens. Transfer the mixture to a floured work surface and press down lightly with your hands, but do not over-knead. Once the mixture has a round shape, flatten it to a height of about 2-3 cm. The dish should be about the size of a breakfast plate. Cut the round scones into quarters with a knife, then divide the quarters again to make eight pieces. Bake the scones at approximately 200°C for 18-20 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
