Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 3 m.-sized eggs
- 9 tbsp flour
- 100 ml milk
- 1 pinch of baking powder
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 50 g bacon cubes
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt until frothy. Add the butter, flour, baking powder, and milk. Mix everything together to form a creamy batter and let it rest for half an hour. Fry the bacon in a dry pan. Peel the onions, slice them into rings, and fry them in another pan. Heat a nonstick pan (I use a reversible pan). Stir the bacon cubes into the batter. Add a ladleful of batter to the pan. Place 1/3 of the onion rings on the batter. Fry the pancake on both sides until golden brown and then keep warm. Repeat this process until all the batter is used up. Plate up and serve.
