Double-decker with meatloaf

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 rolls (Kaiser rolls)
  • 2 slices of meatloaf
  • 1 handful of lettuce
  • 4 cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • some tomato sauce (see my recipe “Ollo’s Second Meatloaf”)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Snack with leftover meatloaf

Wash the lettuce and shake dry. Wash and slice the cherry tomatoes. Peel the onion and slice into rings. Cut the rolls lengthwise. Gently heat the two meatloaf slices in the microwave. Now place the meatloaf on the bottom of the roll. Spread the lettuce on top. Then place the tomato slices and onion rings on top. Finally, pour the tomato sauce over the top. Put the lid on the roll and serve.
