Alsatian-style puff pastry snails

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 250 g bacon, diced
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 packs of puff pastry
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Finely dice the onions and thinly slice the spring onions. Then, combine the cream cheese with the bacon, onions, and spring onions in a bowl and mix. Season the mixture with salt and pepper and spread evenly on the rolled-out puff pastry. Carefully roll up and cut into approximately 1.5 cm thick slices. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. This will make approximately 15-20 snails. Bake the snails at 200°C for approximately 15 minutes. These puff pastry snails are delicious both hot and cold and are perfect for a party buffet.
