Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 7 eggs
  • 250 g quark, 40%
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 200 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 packs of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 350 ml milk
  • some lemon juice, amount according to taste
  • Butter and semolina for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

First, make a pudding with 100g of sugar, the milk, and one sachet of custard powder. Then stir in the cold butter and let the pudding cool, stirring occasionally. For the quark mixture, mix the quark, 2 eggs, 100g sugar, 1 sachet of custard powder, and the lemon juice until smooth. Separate the remaining 5 eggs. Stir the egg yolks into the cooled pudding and beat lightly. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Fold the beaten egg whites into the pudding mixture. Grease a springform pan (26-28 cm) and sprinkle with semolina. First, pour in the quark mixture and smooth it down. Then spread the pudding mixture on top. Bake the cake in an unheated oven at 175°C for one hour. After baking, let it cool in the pan.
