Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 75 g butter
- 2 eggs
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh herbs, chopped, if desired
- 75 g breadcrumbs
- 1 liter meat broth
- Chives or parsley
- marjoram
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cream the softened butter until fluffy. Add the eggs and herbs, if desired, and season. Mix in as many breadcrumbs as the dough will absorb. Let the dough rise slightly. Boil the broth. Shape the dough into “little dumplings” and cook in the broth for just a few minutes.
