Amaranth whole grain crackers

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g amaranth, cooked and cooled
  • 160 g whole wheat flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 100 ml water
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Mix the amaranth, flour, baking powder, and water thoroughly. Spread a thin layer onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or nonstick baking foil using a spatula. Then use the spatula to separate the mixture into small crackers. Spray with water and sprinkle the mixed seeds over the crackers. You can also press them down lightly. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 200-220 degrees Celsius (400-425 degrees Fahrenheit) until dry and crispy.
