Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g almond(s), peeled, ground
- 6 drops of bitter almond flavor
- 300 g sugar
- 3 egg whites (size M)
- 25 g powdered sugar
Instructions

Combine the almonds, bitter almond flavoring, and sugar. Beat the egg whites until stiff and mix well with the almonds. Form the mixture into small balls. Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F) top/bottom heat. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and arrange the balls on the sheets. Bake one after the other for about 25 minutes. Do not let the amaretti brown. This ensures they are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm.
