Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g sugar
  • 450 ml water
  • 3 small bottles of bitter almond flavoring
  • 40 cl Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Melt the sugar in a saucepan while stirring. It doesn’t need to melt all of it. Add the water. Be careful, it might splash! Lift with a spoon so the water gets under the sugar to prevent it from burning. The sugar will dissolve completely. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes, then remove the pan from the heat and stir in the bitter almond flavoring and Amaretto. Let it cool slightly and then serve.
