Amber Igoulash with Bacon

The perfect amber igoulash with bacon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 120 g Bacon cubes
  • 4 Pc. Bernerli or Wienerli
  • 1 Pc. Clove of garlic
  • 1 Pc. Big onion
  • 2 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 1 Can Chopped tomatoes
  • 0,5 dl Water
  • 1 Pr Sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • Dried basil
  1. Fry the diced bacon in a frying pan until translucent. Cut the Bernerli diagonally into pieces and add to the bacon. Sear.
  2. Chop the garlic, cut the onion into rings and add to the pan. Sautéing. Add the tomato puree and steam briefly.
  3. Add the tomatoes and water, bring to the boil. Season well with sugar, salt, pepper, paprika and basil.
  4. Goes well with: pasta or polenta
