Nut Foam Cuts

The perfect nut foam cuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough:

  • 100 g Butter
  • 4 Pc. Egg yolk
  • 100 g Ground nuts
  • 120 g Icing sugar
  • 150 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 125 ml Cold milk

For covering:

  • 4 Pc. Egg white
  • 120 g Granulated sugar
  1. I either make double the mass for the whole baking sheet or this mass in a cake tin.
  2. Mix the butter, icing sugar and yolks until frothy.
  3. Mix the nuts, flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk.
  4. Fill into the prepared form and bake in the preheated oven at 165 degrees for about 35 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, beat the egg white until stiff and let the granulated sugar trickle in. Beat until the snow is shiny.
  6. Then spread the snow on the baked dough and put it back in the oven for about 6 to 7 minutes. The tips of the snow should only turn a little brown, otherwise the foam will dry out! Let cool down and enjoy!
