Nut Foam Cuts
The perfect nut foam cuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 100 g Butter
- 4 Pc. Egg yolk
- 100 g Ground nuts
- 120 g Icing sugar
- 150 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 125 ml Cold milk
For covering:
- 4 Pc. Egg white
- 120 g Granulated sugar
- I either make double the mass for the whole baking sheet or this mass in a cake tin.
- Mix the butter, icing sugar and yolks until frothy.
- Mix the nuts, flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk.
- Fill into the prepared form and bake in the preheated oven at 165 degrees for about 35 minutes.
- In the meantime, beat the egg white until stiff and let the granulated sugar trickle in. Beat until the snow is shiny.
- Then spread the snow on the baked dough and put it back in the oven for about 6 to 7 minutes. The tips of the snow should only turn a little brown, otherwise the foam will dry out! Let cool down and enjoy!
