Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
approx. 30 pieces
Cream butter and sugar (brown and white) until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla essence. Mix in flour, oats, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Fold in chocolate chips, chocolate, and nuts. The dough should be stiff and relatively dry. Roll teaspoon-sized portions into small balls and place them about 3 cm apart on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes at 190°C until light brown. I usually mix the chocolate chips with dark chocolate, peanut butter, white chocolate, and milk chocolate, sometimes with mini Smarties (for a more vibrant look). Makes about 30 cookies.
