Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 125 g margarine
  • 90 g brown sugar
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 g sweets (large Smarties)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place all ingredients, except Smarties, into a bowl one after the other and mix. Either by hand or with a mixer. Then fold in the Smarties by hand. If the mixture is too sticky, add a little more flour, but the stickiness is actually part of the cookie dough. Line baking sheets with baking paper. Scoop out the dough the size of your palm and place it in heaps on the baking paper, leaving plenty of space between them (they will be nice and big). The Smarties must be covered by the batter. Bake only one baking sheet at a time on the middle rack in a preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes until golden brown. Remove the cookies from the oven even if they are still very soft, otherwise they will burn quickly. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack. They will first become harder and then softer, then they will have the right consistency. Tip: Don’t stir the ingredients in a certain order as you would normally do, but follow the order and simply mix everything together, otherwise they won’t turn out as well.
