American Corn Bread

- 200 g Whole wheat flour
- 500 g Polenta semolina
- 1 tsp Sea-Salt
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 50 g Buckwheat flour
- 0,5 l Milk
- 40 g Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 80 g Honey
- Mix the freshly ground whole wheat flour and buckwheat flour with the corn grits, sea salt and baking powder in a bowl.
- Let the butter melt in the lukewarm milk and stir in the eggs and honey. This is poured into the flour mixture and everything is stirred well.
- Put the very liquid dough in a greased, floured loaf pan and bake it in the pre-heated oven at 200 ° C, lowest rack, for about 35 minutes. Overturn on a wire rack and let cool down.
